Tegan always knew that she couldn’t remain hidden forever. She left Tribane to escape the danger posed to her by the supernatural creatures who dwell there, but every day she has mourned the friends and family she had to leave behind. It’s been two years, but Tegan struggles on with the new lonely life she has built for herself. She might crave human companionship, but at least she’s still alive.
Unfortunately, all of her hard work in running away comes crashing down around her when a familiar face comes strolling into her new place of work one night. She considers leaving and starting over again, but this old acquaintance has a proposition for her, one that will see her returning to Tribane and fighting to rescue a little girl who has been kidnapped.
Tegan feels for the child, but her heart is also swelling at the idea of going home to see the people she has missed the most. Can she kill two birds with one stone? Finally she decides that she will return, but what she finds on her arrival is that her father has gone missing, not to mention there has been an almighty war between the two opposing sides of the city.
Throw into this her mixed emotions at seeing beautiful Ethan again, and there is a whole lot of confusion going on. Tegan finds herself playing the role of a spy, as she tries to find information as to the whereabouts of her father and the girl. Even though she is supposed to be pretending, she can’t help that she is falling for Ethan all over again, and if he discovers her true intentions for coming back then he might just hate her forever.

Well, well, well. This picks up two years later after Tegan has left Tribane. She is asked to come back by Finn and his partner to help find and rescue his daughter. And she agrees under certain circumstances. She also thinks that this would be a good time to see her friends, father and of course the sexy Ethan.When she gets to Tribane, not only has her friend been addicted to the things Lucus has been doing to her, but her father is missing. So she has to help her friend, find her father and find the missing child. Of course you have Finn always flirting ( I love him), Rita and the gang that’s back in action.
The relationship between Tegan and Ethan develops on a different level and I was hoping to see it blossom. It’s a struggle for her because she actually didn’t come back to Tribane for Ethan, but for a whole different reason. And she fears that this would be the ultimate betrayal and it would tear Ethan heart apart. Because I think she really loves him and he loves her. But especially her, she is very nervous to admit it.
We get to see truces being made and betrayal ruined a relationship. So In due time, we will see if things get better for Tegan and Ethan.
I’m excited to see what’s next in store for the installment. Because now that Theodore is back, it’s going to be trouble.

WOW! I run across a series every so often that has me wanting to just read, and do nothing else! The heck with housework and anything else I need to do!! All I want is to read about Tegan and Ethan!! So, I have to go now to get the next book!!
In this book, Tegan comes back after running into hiding, and she has to spy against Ethan to save a little girl who was kidnapped. She has some tough decisions to make, as her father is also missing and She is falling even more for Ethan. I can't wait to see how the story ends I. The next book.
very addictive and good for teens and adults. Lots of papers but will still have you finishing in no time as it is so addictive. you will continue with this series because you wont be able to help yourself.

I downloaded this book the second I finished the first. I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next in Tegan's story! I was not disappointed!
I'm absolutely in LOVE with all the characters! Especially Ethan! Though sometimes I want to smack him. =)
I couldn't get myself to put my down until I was completely finished. I'm so sad that I now have to wait until 2013 for the 3rd book! I will be impatiently waiting and stalking the author until its release!
GREAT BOOKS!
I really loved this book. It is not flashy and it is not traditional. There is this aura of gloom and darkness that hangs around with every turn of the page and I love that. I was intrigued by the characters and wanted to know more about them. It is not a literary masterpiece or anything like that, but it's not a trashy romance novel either. More urban fantasy with a dash of romance. I will be reading more of this series.
This was an exceptional addition to the series. I was so into this book that I couldn't put it down. This edition had so much more of everything and I love L H Cosway's ability to weave together so many characters and make me fall in love with them all. There are so many twists and turns along with those nerve wracking subtle hints to leave you guessing that makes the angst so invigorating. I am definitely invested in this series and anxiously await future books.
These are all great books, that I really enjoyed. I read them all in about 3 days, I just couldn't stop...
I found the characters realistic, with real flaws. They occasionally flounder around with indecision, heart break, anger and joy.
I liked how the varied romances were conducted and the mistakes and agonising could of/should of scenarios. Hindsight is a vicious thing.
What's good is that all is not always lost, and I like the way that various people of varied ages, struggle with decision making and insecurities.
A great series, I wonder if the author might do a carry on with a Series 2...?
