Simone desperately wanted a child of her own. Unfortunately, the draks did also--hers. But she wasn't about to give up her babies without a fight! She didn't care if they were the donors!

Simone had no idea that the fertility clinic she'd chosen was a front for a breeding project 'not of this Earth', or that she would find herself battling for rights she'd always considered hers by birth. She discovered, though, that her captors, the hardened warriors of the House of Jakaar, Prince Camryn, Kael, and Ean, had bonded with her in an unexpected way that turned their world upside down.

Author Kaitlyn O’Connor was first published by Harlequin Enterprises in 1994 under the pen name of Madris Dupree after nearly a decade of ‘apprenticeship’ --struggling to learn the business, the marketing, and the writing skills necessary for a career in commercial fiction. That ‘first’ published book, a historical, (which was actually her fourth attempt at a marketable piece of fiction) was successful, however, selling nearly 80,000 copies in the U.S., Switzerland, France, and the U.K. She writes various genres (or sub-genres since she always writes romance!) under different pen names. She has written science fiction/futuristic/fantasy under several—Kaitlyn O’Connor, in honor of her Scottish grandmother, Lyssa Hart, and Angelique Anjou (for the French ancestry), all combined here now under the single pen name Kaitlyn O’Connor.

Breeder Project edition by Kaitlyn O'Connor Romance eBooks

i like the ir future alien capture for breeding stories. but this one left me some what confused. ok the plot was alright they need woman to breed males to be warriors. the heroine should have looked and listen before she leaped even she was told while on the ship to stop inciting a rebellion, when she got to the home planet did she stop NO. in order to break the rules you have to know the rules. i think a chapter or chapters was missing from the story after the council was killed off the story just ended HEA for all. i still have questions. did heroine decided to stay with the aliens? and why ?what about the boys are they going to there training? where do the little girls play at in the story? i do understand that you have to have females to form allies with other powers. i did not like the heroine in the story at all she was just a stupid hot head. the heros were trying to make a change until they were jailed. should you buy this book not really. there are better stories out there on this subject.

Breeder Project edition by Kaitlyn O'Connor Romance eBooks Reviews

I enjoyed this book probably more than the three stars that I have given it. It seriously needs a proof reader. There are many missing words and sometimes it is missing the rest of a sentence. The end of the story while unique didn't seem to go far enough in changing the initial conflict set up in the story. With corrections it is a really good story. I wish they had explored the love aspect a little more.
I bought this in spite of a really bad review because I like Ms.O'Conner's work, but I really don't appreciate paying this much for work that has not been checked for grammatical errors. If I pay 99 cents for a book I expect the spelling and grammar mistakes, at almost 8 dollars, I expected more polished writing.
Something was mangled in my download. Don't think it will be just my download ether. Every few pages, and mine is set for larger print, part of a sentence is missing and randomly reappears later in the story. This completely throws a reader off and is difficult to read around. I will wait for this to be fixed before I download again and try to get father into the story. I made it about a quarter in before giving up.
This book flows in a futuristic world, but aliens have come among us and we did not even know it. Oh to be pregnant without the knowing who bred you. Yes! Women are now used as breeding stock for the HOT aliens and we didnt even get to play with them.... until.... the story is believable with major points to O'Connor for relizing humans can be steller assess or be pushed to far into courage. She is a master at creating friction where the heat creates a fire of passion and a story for any science fiction erotica lover to enjoy. This book is an excellent read for the summer beach or a dark bed.
I've read most of her other stuff and this this one didn't impress me at all. I like strong women in a story. This one started kind of strong but man she wimped out. If I had been kidnapped into a society where I would be nothing but the equivalent of a slave I know I have no problems with violent resistance. It feels like she gave up and gave in. The character Zev, who helped her out in the storyline, just disappears as does the plight of his working class. I just couldn't like the heros who to the bitter end supported a system that would result in the extinction of their species. The end felt like a cop out. I'm in no way warning anyone away from this author. I love her other stuff and am buying a different story right after I write this review, but I just can't recommend this particular story if you have read her other stuff. If you are looking to try this author I do recommend The Ninth Orb or her Cyberevolution series Abiogenesis,Cyberevolution Cyborg, or Cyberevolution Cyborg Nation. The sex in her stories is nice (hot) but the stories are super good and I would read them even if I didn't like the erotica aspect.
I bought this book and I do all of miss o' connors books for one reason the erotic aspect let me emphisize I am looking for a combination of hot sex with a touch of romance and it must be a menage I am not interested in a one on one romance plus I want multiple couplings with multiple partners or forget it the problem with most romance is it is not sexually graphic enough the problem with most erotica is there is too much bdsm which I hate and no romance alien penetration is fine but it takes too long to get to the sex the treatment of women is abobminable and there is a sex scene with the concubine which is totally irellivant but it has a somewhat nice ending but I have no interest in the process of world biulding just get to the sex!!! cannot reccomend
I have always had an interest in the caste system and holy moly i have to give these breeders a whoop whoop for not going postal. I am actually surprised that only two of them ended their own lives. I thought that the female main character was a little.... froo froo in her humanitarian views, but it fit just right with the story. I had hoped that she would be more of a realist and not "look the other way because you do not want to see what is right in front of you" kind of girl. But like I said before, she did fit. Loved this book! Loved the action and the description of the system.
